Syrian Hamster ( Mesocricetus Auratus)

As the name implies, is derived from the hamster syrian. Type hamster has a physical characteristic greater than most other types of hamsters. it was around 12.5 to 17.5 cm and weight 130-210 grams in adulthood. Hamster is able to live about 2 - 2.5 years. Because the physical larger than the other types, it's normal Syrian hamsters need more food supplies. Also in our care also need to be more diligent in replacing the bedding and clean the cage due to the amount of feces that released more than other types.

Soft and rarely bite, that this hamster character though overall was often found in cases of this type hamster bite. Movement is relatively slower than other types and are solitary, so for beginners who want to maintain one tail hamster, Syrian hamster can be selected to be used as pets.
